JDCS: Japan Diabetes Complications Study

概要

当科に本部をおき、全国59カ所の糖尿病専門施設外来に通院する、進行合併症を持たない日本人2型糖尿病患者さん約2000名を対象にした大規模臨床研究です。参加施設専門医の先生方の長年のご助力により、対象者の血糖・血圧・血清脂質・生活習慣などの臨床検査と合併症の発症・進展に関するイベントについてデータを収集、解析し、様々な日本人糖尿病患者さんについての科学的エビデンスを提供してきました。

当科では糖尿病、高血圧、脂質異常症、肥満・メタボリック症候群などの代謝疾患(生活習慣病)やバセドウ病、慢性甲状腺、甲状腺腫瘍、クッシング症候群、原発性アルドステロン症などに代表される内分泌疾患(ホルモンの病気)の診療や教育研究をおこなっております。また、急性白血病、慢性骨髄性白血病、悪性リンパ腫、多発性骨髄腫、貧血、凝固異常症など血液疾患の診療(新規治療薬を用いた多剤併用化学療法、造血幹細胞移植、細胞免疫療法など)や教育研究を行なっております。
