\nA\uff1aI learned a lot while a member of the laboratory both on the personal and professional levels. It was quite an enriching experience. The supervisors were very supportive and encouraged independence in research.<\/p>\n

\nA\uff1aI am a lot of friends from the laboratory whom I continue to work with till now. We have ongoing collaborations even 7 years after graduation.<\/p>\n

\nA\uff1aAfter finishing my PhD, I moved to the USA to do my postdoctoral research at St Jude Children\u2019s Research Hospital. After that I moved back to my home country where I am now an assistant professor and I have my own research group at the Faculty of Medicine of the American University of Beirut<\/p>\n
