当科では糖尿病、高血圧、脂質異常症、肥満・メタボリック症候群などの代謝疾患(生活習慣病)やバセドウ病、慢性甲状腺、甲状腺腫瘍、クッシング症候群、原発性アルドステロン症などに代表される内分泌疾患(ホルモンの病気)の診療や教育研究をおこなっております。また、急性白血病、慢性骨髄性白血病、悪性リンパ腫、多発性骨髄腫、貧血、凝固異常症など血液疾患の診療(新規治療薬を用いた多剤併用化学療法、造血幹細胞移植、細胞免疫療法など)や教育研究を行なっております。

概要

全国の開業糖尿病専門医の先生方を中心に組織され、CoDiC (正式名:Computerized Diabetes Care) という共通の糖尿病データ管理ソフトウェアを用いて、糖尿病治療の実態の把握と改善を目的に行われている多施設共同研究です。
